P 4946 フランスの年金改革

businessweek

ISSA 2010.05.19

The French government is studying a combination of a longer working life and new taxes on high earners to stem losses in the country’s pension system.

The proposals, given by Labor Minister Eric Woerth to labor union and business leaders late yesterday, will be the basis of negotiations due to start tomorrow.

“The government is committed to bring the system back to balance and not just to cut losses,” Woerth’s office said in a statement today, promising that pensions won’t be cut. “The government will not reduce the standard of living of retirees today nor in the future to resolve the difficulties of the pension system.”
